About Us
Sewing has been one of the great loves of my life. My older sister Julie learned to sew through 4H way- back-when in the western mountains of Maine. She enthusiastically taught me what she had learned and we soon became best sewing buddies. This love of sister sewing extends to this day.
Whow...some 40 years later. We moved from sewing clothes to crafts and then of course quilts. Quilting! What fun. As our quilt tops and other projects began to pile up it was natural for me to look at longarm quilting. I had been doing my quilts freehand on regular sewing machines.
If this is something you have tried, you know it has its limitations. The resulting aching back, neck and frustrations were enough for me to look for other options. Then came the longarm to the rescue. Oh, we live in such an exciting age with technology advancements and all the fun creative stuff it allows us to do! I have a Gammill Statler with a 14 foot table so I can complete a floor to floor king-size quilt and of course anything smaller.
We will treat your hard work as we treat our own, because we know what time and expense is involved. We also understand the love that goes into these quilts for that special someone.
